Celia Dehn Looking Forward to a Busy Retirement

Celia is a great lover of art, especially Picasso and Kahlo. Here is Picasso’s “Weeping Woman.”

Celia Dehn has been in a very good mood lately. She has been bright, chipper, and smiling way more than usual. Retirement looks good on her.

As the Senior Department Accounting Assistant, Celia has handled the purchasing/accounting functions for the Division of Nephrology for the past two years. Her last day is September 4, 2018.

“I have a list of so many things I want to do when I retire, though I have removed skydiving from my list – who needs a broken hip?”

One reason for all the smiles is that Celia is looking forward to helping out with her two grandson’s, Henry (5 1/2) and Clark (almost 3). Henry will be starting kindergarten in mid-September.

“I have really enjoyed my time in Nephrology,” Celia says. “This is a very good group of dedicated, friendly people! I will miss everyone very much. This is the first place I have ever worked that from day one, everyone pronounced my name correctly. In another department, someone called me Celica for 30 years!”

Best wishes for a rewarding retirement filled with fun and family, Celia. We will miss you!
